Policy & Advocacy: Driving Systemic Change for Safer Roads

Creating a truly safe road system requires effective policies and regulations. MKJR plays a unique and crucial role in advocacy, leveraging its position as a council with representatives from diverse government ministries and agencies. Our advocacy efforts aim to influence and support the development and implementation of evidence-based road safety policies at both national and local levels.

Our Approach: Evidence-Based & Collaborative

We champion policies grounded in data, research, and international best practices (like the Safe System Approach). Our strategy involves engaging key stakeholders, presenting compelling evidence to policymakers, raising public awareness on critical policy issues, and facilitating dialogue through our council meetings and strategic partnerships.
